Summary

Responsibilities

• * Assists with construction, renovation, remodel, and repair of all structural elements related to assigned projects which may include (but not limited to) window and door installations, drywall installations and finishing, framing, roofing, plumbing, painting, insulation, trim and cabinets work * Assists with demolishing and /or constructing interior building partitions by specified job order * Assists with blueprints and measurements * Completes assigned work orders and records time and material used with the WOM’s system * Keeps tools, equipment and vehicles maintained and stored appropriately * Adheres to accepted policy, codes and standards for the construction trade and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards * Subject to 24-hour emergency and/or inclement weather call back * Performs all other duties as assigned
• Competencies: Essential: * Able to follow instructions, both written and oral * Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters * Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability * Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines * Knowledge of general cabinetry and cabinet building * Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management

Skills

• Essential: * Basic Computer skills * Must be flexible and be able to adapt to last minute changes
• Experience: Essential: * 1 year directly related experience
• Education: Essential: * High School, GED or Equivalent
• Credentials: Essential: * Pass gaming background check * Pass general background check
• Working Conditions: Essential: * Construction site * Hand tools * Power tools * Pass pre-employment drug test * Constantly bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach * Sometimes climb stairs * Operate hand tools * Sometimes lift and or carry over 100 lbs * Moderately strenuous work * Standing up to 75% of shift * May work day shift * Travels up to 25%
