- Perform carpentry work including installation, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of woodwork, furniture, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other structures
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine scope of work
- Measure project sites and prepare accurate material takeoffs
- Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs for carpentry projects
- Prepare quotations, cost proposals, and budgets for clients and management
- Source materials and obtain pricing from suppliers and vendors
- Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, suppliers, and site teams throughout project execution
- Maintain records of estimates, contracts, invoices, and project documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, Joiner, or Carpenter Foreman
- Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, methods, and construction processes
- Experience in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and project budgets
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in measurement and quantity takeoff calculations
- Familiarity with construction pricing and supplier sourcing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software is an advantage

Job Summary
