Role Overview
Caregivers provide attentive care for elderly individuals and children in home or care-facility settings.
The role requires patience, responsibility, experience supporting daily needs, and attention to safety and emotional well-being.
Elderly Care Duties
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily living activities.
- Support mobility and safe movement.
- Monitor health conditions and report changes.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with medication as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Child Care Duties
- Supervise children and ensure their safety at all times.
- Assist with feeding, hygiene, and daily routines.
- Support age-appropriate activities and play.
- Help with school-related tasks if required.
- Maintain a nurturing and positive environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in elderly care and/or child care.
- Caring, patient, and trustworthy personality.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to perform caregiving tasks.
- First Aid or caregiving certification is an advantage.
- A diploma is preferred.
Employment and Workplace
- The position is full-time and permanent.
- Work is performed in person in Doha, in home-care or care-facility settings.
