As a Care Professional with Home Instead South Lakes , no two days are the same—but every day is meaningful.

Your morning might begin by helping Mr Davies start his day—supporting him to get out of bed, have a shower, and get dressed with dignity. Later, you may visit Mrs Smith to ensure she’s comfortable, has taken her medication, and enjoys a warm, nutritious lunch.

In the afternoon, you could take Mr Thompson for a gentle walk in the fresh air, or assist Mrs Williams with light housework and a bit of shopping. Sometimes, your most important role might simply be sharing a cuppa and a chat—bringing warmth, reassurance, and friendly conversation to someone’s day.

This role is about more than just tasks —it’s about building trust, offering companionship, and making a genuine difference.

Competitive Pay: Up to £16.25 per hour , and double-time on Bank Holidays.

Travel Costs Covered: Receive £13.50 for travel and wait time , plus 30p per mile mileage reimbursement.
