Care Assistant

Well, imagine popping by to help Mrs. Smith start her day. One moment you're assisting her out of bed and helping her choose an outfit, and the next, you're sharing a cuppa and a natter as she enjoys her breakfast. Later, you might be off to Mr. Jones' to make sure he's got his medication sorted and assisting him with a refreshing shower and a hot meal on the table. Maybe a quick tidy-up, or a trip to the shops is on the cards as well.

But here's the special bit. You're not just a helper; you're a lifeline, a listener, and often, a good laugh! You ensure all of your clients are comfortable and safe to enable them to stay independent in their own homes.

We are looking for caring, compassionate Care Professionals to work within the Huntingdon areas between 7am - 10pm Monday to Friday and alternate Weekends -( Of course you will not be working straight through those times)

Genuine passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their families

Strong sense of reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for client confidentiality

Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks

Patience, empathy, and understanding towards clients' diverse needs

Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client transportation

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required
