Care Assistant

Previous experience or particular qualifications are not required to become a Care Professional with Home Instead, as full training and support are provided. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.

To be successful you must:

Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.

Be reliable, trustworthy and respectful.

Enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is necessary due to the location in which some of our clients live.

As a Care Professional, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay starting from £11 per hour as well as paid mileage and travel time.
