About the Role
Hyper Lychee Labs is hiring a Cards Analytics Specialist for a 12-month onsite contract in Doha, Qatar. You will own card portfolio performance measurement, build dashboards, conduct campaign analysis, and provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Build and run recurring card portfolio dashboards and performance packs for leadership across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles
- Analyze card portfolios by product, channel, customer cohort, and vintage to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Measure card marketing and engagement campaigns using test versus control comparisons, return on spend calculations, and response rate analysis
- Act as analytics partner to Cards Product, Portfolio, Marketing, and Risk teams, producing briefing packs, business cases, and what if scenarios
- Maintain consistent metric definitions across teams
- Automate manual reporting and improve data quality to enable self service analytics
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years working in cards analytics, card portfolio analytics, or business intelligence within banking, payments, or financial services
- Proven hands on work analyzing a live card portfolio (credit, debit, or both)
- Strong SQL, comfortable writing complex queries against large datasets
- Advanced Excel including pivot tables, lookup and match functions, and data modeling
- Working proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or comparable visualization tool
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Available immediately or on a notice period of up to 30 days

Role Overview
- Location: Doha, Qatar (On site). Duration: 12 Months (Extendable).
- We are hiring a Cards Analytics Specialist to work on a project for a leading regional bank.
- This is a specialist analytics role inside the Cards & Payments function, requiring deep cards experience.
- You will own how card portfolio performance is measured, understood, and acted upon across the full card lifecycle.
- This is a hands on individual contributor role with real visibility. Minimum 7 years of experience required.
The Work Itself

What You Need to Have
- Minimum 7 years working in cards analytics, card portfolio analytics, or business intelligence within banking, payments, or financial services.

- Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, lookup and match functions, and data modeling.

Preferred Qualifications
- Python or R for statistical work, data manipulation, and automation.
- SAS for portfolio analysis and data extraction.
- Exposure to CRM or campaign management platforms.
- Familiarity with core banking or card management system data.
- A working grasp of how a card portfolio actually makes money across revenue and cost levers.
- A relevant analytics certification.
