Rixos Hotels seeks a Captain Waiter to manage front-of-house operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high service standards.
The role requires leadership, team management, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, manage seating arrangements, and coordinate table assignments.
- Oversee all aspects of service, including order accuracy, timing, and presentation.
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff.
- Conduct staff training sessions on service protocols and customer interaction techniques.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage reservations and special requests, communicating effectively with guests and team members.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and wine or beverage pairings.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including station setup and inventory checks.
- Provide performance feedback to team members and contribute to staff development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant service management.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and health codes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
