Position Summary
Coordinate restaurant and function service while supporting guest satisfaction and service standards.
Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
Core Responsibilities
- Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions.
- Calculate group-function charges and prepare and present checks for payment.
- Prepare banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee-break areas for service.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards and ensure centerpieces are displayed.
- Inspect china, glassware, and silverware for cleanliness and presentation before use.
- Check guest satisfaction and maintain clean work areas throughout the day.
Workplace and Physical Requirements
- The position is scheduled full time at Sheikh Zayed Road, Business Bay, Dubai, and is not remote.
- The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
