- Prepare a wide variety of canapés, hors d'oeuvres, finger foods, mini sandwiches, tartlets, and other cold kitchen items
- Create items from full scratch production, including doughs, bread, tart shells, and pastry bases
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, portion control, and presentation standards
- Assist in developing new canapé concepts and menu items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Manage stock levels and ensure proper storage using FIFO system
- Support production for events, catering, and daily operations
- Work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume kitchen environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Canapés Chef, Cold Kitchen Chef, Garde Manger Chef, or similar role
- Must have strong hands on experience in cold kitchen production from scratch, including bread, tart shells, pastry bases, and dough preparation
- Must be capable of full production (not limited to assembly or plating only)
- Experience in hotels, catering companies, banquet kitchens, or high end production kitchens is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Skilled in preparation, baking fundamentals, and finishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail, consistency, and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Overview
- We are looking for a skilled and creative Canapés Chef (Cold Kitchen Specialist) to join our production team.
