Overview
Our Tier 1 Civil Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Camp, Welfare and Security Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on a new offshore residential project.
Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Camp and Welfare Manager looking after labor camps accommodating in excess of 350 staff and/or managing camps based offshore, ideally having worked for a main contractors previously managing labor camps, worker welfare, camp facilities and security.
This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a permanent, direct hire basis, employed by our client
Key Responsibilities
- The Camp, Welfare and Security Manager holds responsibility to manage company accommodation, facilities, camp administration, worker welfare, camp security and logistics coordination including drivers and transportation.
- Manage daily operations of the workers’ camp and accommodation facilities
- Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and hygiene within the camp premises
- Allocate rooms and maintain updated occupancy records
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping activities
- Ensure availability of water, electricity, and other basic services
- Handle complaints and welfare issues of camp residents
- Manage drivers, vehicle movements, and daily transportation schedules for site staff and workers
- Coordinate logistics between camp, sites, and office for manpower transportation
- Monitor fuel usage, vehicle condition, and driver attendance
- Coordinate catering, cleaning, and laundry services (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with municipality and safety regulations
- Maintain records of camp assets, furniture, vehicles, and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas
