Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Labour Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations and facility management of our labour accommodation.

The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for workers while complying with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the labour camp, including accommodation allocation and occupancy records
  • Oversee facility management services such as housekeeping, maintenance, waste management, and security
  • Ensure the camp complies with health, safety, and municipality regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance work with internal teams and external contractors
  • Monitor hygiene standards and ensure proper pest control measures are in place
  • Handle worker concerns, complaints, and welfare issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records related to occupancy, incidents, maintenance, and inspections
  • Supervise camp staff including cleaners, security personnel, and maintenance workers
  • Ensure availability of essential utilities such as water, electricity, and air conditioning
  • Implement emergency procedures and ensure safety equipment is functional
  • Prepare reports and provide updates to management on camp operations

Requirements

  • Minimum **8 years of experience in labour camp management** or a similar facility management role
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and labour accommodation regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to handle conflict and resolve issues effectively
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and facility operations
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Facility Management, Hospitality, or a related field
  • Experience working in construction, industrial, or large workforce environments
