CAD Technician

• Support designers and engineers in delivering accurate , code-compliant design packages.
• Improve project quality through precise, consistent drafting practices.
• Contribute to on-time delivery of engineering submittals and construction drawing sets to clients

• Associate’s degree in drafting and design or comparable field is required , two years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of this educational requirement.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2010 or newer is required
• Experience utilizing MicroStation, Inventor, Revit, or 3D CADD is preferred
• Basic drafting including drawing scales, layouts ( Paperspace / Modelspace ), and accurately reproducing engineering markups
• Experience using CADD, word processing, spreadsheet, and email software
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Ability to accept direction/correction s when provided with constructive feedback

• Ability to sit for extended periods during computer-based work.
• Ability to stand and walk intermittently throughout the workday.
• Occasional lifting of up to 2 5 pounds.
• Occasional travel to other offices or locations.
• Working extended hours, including weekends, may be required periodically
