Responsibilities include
- Preparing civil engineering design drawings, construction plans, and planning drawings related to airports.
- Completing design calculations.
- Collecting and reviewing data provided by teammates for inclusion in airport layout plans.
- Developing sketches for inclusion in reports
- Preparing record drawings utilizing as-built redlines and other construction record data.
- Reviewing for quality assurance and quality control.
- Maintaining company CAD standards.
- Attending internal project meetings.
- May visit project sites to evaluate progress.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- A valid driver’s license and approximately 5% travel will be required with occasional site visits.
Successful candidates must have the following
- Associate degree (or higher) in CAD, engineering, GIS, planning, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years or relevant experience.
- OR
- If no degree, must have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following
CAD design software, Civil 3D, and/or Revit
ArcGIS software and analysis
Interest in aviation/airport development
Organizational skills
Working with team members in different offices
Microsoft Office Suite software
