Role Overview
Bowman is hiring a CAD Technician II in Mesa, Arizona.
The role supports engineers, planners, landscape architects, and other technical positions with CAD and technical drafting work.
The position translates technical notes, sketches, electronic data, and drawings into documentable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform work under moderate supervision and receive direction on moderately complex assignments.
- Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
- Work with senior staff to learn and assist in design work.
- Draft plans and markups for construction documents.
- Review work for completeness and accuracy before submitting it for review.
- Revise plans according to client, manager, or reviewer comments.
- Organize and maintain CAD-related files for clients and local government intake.
- Coordinate plan submissions and help ensure plans are submitted on time.
- Perform complex assignments from verbal instructions with limited supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent commensurate experience is required.
- An associate's degree is preferred.
