Job Description
Airbus seeks an A220 Cabin Procurement Final Assembly Line Interface representative for its Procurement department in Mobile, Alabama.
The role provides onsite support and optimization for cabin suppliers and connects the Mobile Final Assembly Line with program teams in Canada.
Key Challenges
- Escalate and manage outstanding work issues affecting production schedules.
- Track and recover supplier-related outstanding work costs through claims and negotiations.
- Analyze supplied-part damage and deploy continuous improvement actions.
- Govern cabin supplier support processes and operational reactivity.
- Train and mentor support employees and lead complex cross-functional projects.
- Represent Cabin Procurement across Mobile, Montreal, Mirabel, supplier, and program teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial engineering.
- At least 8 years of aerospace experience in non-conformity management, supply chain operations, or industrial project management.
- Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing, rework mechanisms, and Final Assembly Line drivers.
- Strong negotiation, claim management, communication, and presentation skills.
- High proficiency with SAP, HMS, Google Workspace, and data analytics or visualization tools.
