PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a C++ Acoustic Signal Processing Programmer to sup port our government customer in Patuxent River , MD.
Duties & Responsibilities
- P rogramming in support of the Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Platforms computer system s.
Require d Qualifications:
- Must have a Secret Clearance , To p Secret S CI is preferred.
- S hall be knowledgeable in acoustic signal processing programming and mission planning proce sses and sof tware.
- Three ( 3 ) to five (5) years’ experience in support of Command & Control (C2) and/or Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reco nnaissance (ISR) Platforms computer system experience to include: Test and Evaluation Network Protocols LAN adminis tration fun damentals UNIX and Windows base d operating system

Required Certification
Within 18 months of start date, must obtain the follo wing certification :
- Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), or complete a vendor/platform specific certif ication suc h as : Microsoft Ce rtified Solutions Developer (MCSD) Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD) Microsoft Certified Data base Administrator (MCDBA) Sun Certified Professional (SCP) Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) CISCO Certified Net work Profes sional (CCNP) Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
- Microsoft Ce rtified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
• Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD)
- Microsoft Certified Data base Administrator (MCDBA)

Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of programming languages such as : C+, C++ , C#, and OpenGL
- Discrete Representation of Signals
- z-Transform
- Transfer Function and Frequency Response Function
• Discrete Fourier Transform
- Transfer Function of Models and Wave Equations
- Statistical Models for Acoustic Transfer
- Deconvolution and Inverse Filters
- Linear Equations, Inverse Filters and Signal Analysis
Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED ; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
