Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain vendor database, develop new vendors, and review vendor performance
- Initiate RFQ upon receiving material requests from projects/camp/HSE/HO
- Procure welding consumables, safety equipment, hardware, electrical items, camp supplies, and stationary
- Conduct detailed comparison bids for vendor selection
- Coordinate with requestors for technical evaluation of offers
- Perform commercial evaluation and negotiate terms and conditions
- Prepare supply/service purchase orders
- Expedite purchase orders for timely delivery
- Prepare reports on purchases including cost analyses
- Arrange payment as per PO terms by coordinating with accounts
- Close out purchase orders
Requirements
- Experience in procurement and vendor management
- Knowledge of sourcing various materials (welding, safety, hardware, electrical, camp items)
- Ability to prepare and manage purchase orders
- Commercial evaluation and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Vendor database, updating, developing new vendors, periodic review of Vendor Performance and Maintenance of the same
- Initiate RFQ (Request for Quotation) upon receiving the inputs (MRs) from Projects/Camp/HSE/HO
- Procurement Scope shall include: Welding Consumables, Safety & PPE Equipment, Hardware, Structural and civil items, Electrical Items, Camp and Accommodation items, Stationary items
- Detailed Comparison Bid for purpose of vendor selection
- Co ordinate with initiator of MR for technical Evaluation of the offer
- Commercial evaluation & estimation, establishing and negotiating optimum terms & Condition
- Preparation of Supply/Service Purchase Orders
- Expediting all the Purchase Order for timely delivery
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Arrange Payment as per PO terms by coordinating with Accounts
- Close out of Purchase Order
