About the Role
Sunoco LP is seeking a proactive Buyer to support daily purchasing operations across assigned categories. The role involves executing purchase orders, managing vendor communication, and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities
- Release purchase orders for materials, services, and supplies in alignment with procurement policies and approved budgets
- Monitor open orders and expedite deliveries to meet operational timelines
- Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and support compliance with audit requirements
- Escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders
- Route vendor set up requests to business partner support and communicate to business stakeholders
- Work closely with AP to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing
- Coordinate with Operations and Engineering teams to understand procurement needs and lead time requirements
- Support procurement reporting, compliance verification, and spend tracking as requested
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 2 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with purchasing and inventory reports
- Knowledge of purchasing best practices and vendor negotiation fundamentals
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
