About the Role
Sunoco LP (formerly Parkland Corporation) is seeking an AP Analyst to join the Purchase-to-Pay team. The role involves end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice validation, exception resolution, vendor support, and payment runs.

Responsibilities
- Receive, review, validate, and process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform invoice matching against purchase orders and goods receipts
- Monitor and resolve invoice exceptions including pricing discrepancies, missing purchase orders, approval delays, duplicate invoices
- Respond to vendor and business inquiries related to invoice status and payment inquiries
- Maintain vendor master data integrity
- Perform duplicate invoice identification and resolution
- Support month end and year end activities including accruals, reporting, and reconciliations
- Prepare and execute daily trade run process and payments via cheque, EFT, ACH, online portal, or wire
- Ensure government and municipality payments are paid accurately and timely
- Identify and resolve EFT, ACH, and Wire rejection transactions
- Identify and resolve stale dated cheque transactions
- Administer third party requests related to Garnishee / Bank Guarantor / Assigned Payor transactions
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Working knowledge of end to end Procure to Pay process
- Experience processing payments via Cheque, EFT, ACH, Wire Transfers, and online banking portals
- Experience with large ERP systems such as JDE, PDI, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable controls, compliance requirements, and SOX principles
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership.
- The AP Analyst role is key member of the Purchase to Pay team within Finance Shared Services.
- Responsible for end to end accounts payable processing across U.S. and Canadian operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, review, validate, and process supplier invoices.
- Perform invoice matching against purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Monitor and resolve invoice exceptions.
- Respond to vendor and business inquiries.

- Ensure invoices are processed in compliance with policies and SOX requirements.
- Support month end and year end activities.

Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
