Role Overview
The role involves preparing, packaging, labeling, and managing meat products.
The position requires two years of butchery experience, a food handling certificate, HACCP certification, and English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect shipments of meat.
- Cut, debone, and trim meat into roasts, chops, steaks, and other cuts.
- Grind meat and make sausages.
- Weigh, package, and label meat.
- Answer meat-related questions and fulfill special orders.
- Sharpen knives and maintain cutters and other equipment.
- Clean and disinfect work areas to ensure food safety.
- Conduct inventory and order meats when needed.
Requirements
- Two years of butchery experience is required.
- A Food Handling certificate is mandatory.
- HACCP certification is required.
- English is required.
- High school or equivalent education is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 1,800 to QAR 2,000 per month.
