Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake breads, sourdough, pastries, and other bakery products.
- Follow recipes and production standards accurately.
- Assist with sourdough starter maintenance, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking.
- Prepare doughs, fillings, and other bakery components.
- Maintain consistent quality and presentation.
- Support the Head Baker with testing and developing new products.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Keep the bakery, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock control and reducing ingredient waste.
Requirements
- Previous professional bakery experience of 2 to 4 years.
- Experience working with sourdough is required.
- Good knowledge of dough preparation and baking techniques.
- Creative and interested in developing new bakery products.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and improve baking skills.
Pay
- QAR 2,500 to QAR 3,000 per month.
Work Location and Relocation
- Work is performed in person.
- Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Doha or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package.
