Position Summary

  • Prepare various cuts of meat as required, including beef, lamb, and pork.
  • Label meats with cut type, date, and destination.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing.
  • Set up and break down work stations.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Complete cleaning checklists.
  • Check temperature of appliances and food using thermostats and thermometers.

Qualifications

  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.

Additional Information

  • Follow company safety and security policies.
  • Report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain professional appearance and communication.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Reach overhead and below knees, including bending and stooping.
