Business Unit Performance Controller - Saudi Arabia/Riyadh

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Drive country-level performance controlling, financial transparency, reporting, forecasting, and business steering.
• Provide financial analysis and management reporting to support data-driven decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and target-setting processes for Saudi Arabia.
• Advise management and translate financial information into business recommendations.
• Monitor productivity, profitability, cash flow, margin, and growth targets.
• Identify risks and opportunities and define mitigation and improvement actions.
• Lead special projects, business transformation, and operational-efficiency initiatives.
• Lead digital transformation and automation using analytics, dashboards, self-service reporting, AI-enabled solutions, and standardized processes.
• Drive data governance, data quality, process harmonization, and finance service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with reporting guidelines, internal controls, governance, and risk-management processes.
• Act as the primary finance counterpart to country, regional, and business leadership teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• 8+ years of experience in performance controlling, operations, finance business partnering, FP&A, or business controlling.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, performance management, and profitability steering.
• Business partnering skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience using digital tools and implementing digitalization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Experience in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Experience in project, solutions, services, or technology-driven businesses is advantageous.
• Fluent English is required; other languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• MBA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
