Role Overview
The Business Intelligence Manager owns Resolver's internal business data, Snowflake data, data pipelines, and reporting.
The role determines what is worth measuring, defines data sources and metrics with teams, and helps people make faster, better decisions.
The role includes leadership responsibilities such as coaching direct reports and fostering a data-centric culture.
Strategy, Infrastructure and Planning
- Own the path from dashboard request to delivery, including intake, scoping, sequencing, and follow-through.
- Work with leaders to understand department needs and advise on actionable metrics.
- Design, build, and optimize data warehouse infrastructure, including ETL, data modeling, and metric design.
- Detect data quality issues, implement fixes, and design data audits.
- Evaluate new data sources, tools, processes, security practices, and opportunities to use AI.
- Create and maintain clear technical and business documentation.
Dashboards and Data Analysis
- Develop, test, launch, and maintain high-quality dashboards for Resolver.
- Administer Tableau Cloud and maintain existing dashboards.
