Strategy, Infrastructure & Planning (40%):
Measures of Success: High level of data and report accessibility with minimum time/effort to extract insights from data.
Project management: own the path from dashboard request to delivery, including intake, scoping, sequencing and follow-through.
Work with leaders across Resolver to understand department needs and what data best serves their goals.
Advise on best practices for designing and measuring key metrics, with a strong emphasis on what can delivery actionable insights.
Design, build and optimize all parts of the data warehouse infrastructure to support analysis of key data (requirements gathering, ETL, data modelling, metric design, etc.)
Detect data quality issues and their root causes proactively. Implement fixes and design data audits to capture the issues in the future.
Explore new data sources that can provide useful insights and inform company-wide strategy.
Evaluate new tools and processes that can advance our data capabilities while maintaining high level of security. Put AI to work where it actually changes what the team can take on.
Create and maintain documentation that is accurate, organized and understandable to the intended audience (bonus points if someone outside the data team can read it and actually learn something)

Dashboards & Data Analysis (40%):
Measures of Success: High level of stakeholder satisfaction.
With our team, develop, test and launch high quality dashboards to enable growth across Resolver.
Administer Tableau Cloud, maintain existing dashboards to ensure a high standard.
Develop and maintain AI-powered reporting solutions (Snowflake Cortex Analyst)
Serve as reporting resource for all Resolver divisions, including deep-dive analyses that require wrangling complex data and problems.
Proactively identify trends and business insights that improve results against core corporate KPIs: APR, win-rate, back-to-back revenue.
Generate hypotheses on cross-functional data and run experiments to test efficacy.
Leadership & Team Building (20%):
Measures of Success: Best in class team engagement scores. Clear development of career plans for team members. Both senior and junior stakeholders show sophisticated understanding of data.
Maximize team's impact by providing oversight, support and guidance.
Coordinate use of resources, resolve bottlenecks, review of projects and potential risks.
Mentor and coach the team to achieve OKRs and personal performance objectives. Work closely with team members to create personalized development plans that allow for in-role growth and long-term opportunities.
Beyond the direct business intelligence team, serve as an ambassador for the department.
Regularly report to the executive team on the business impact of the BI infrastructure and BI-related project.
Educate departments on new data technology and methods. Create the building blocks for a data-centric cutlure.
Act as a senior member of the marketing team to define and build team culture and contribute to discussions on improving team engagement and growth.
5+ years work experience in business intelligence and data analysis
Strong knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Domo)
Expert in SQL
Experience with Snowflake or a similar data platform. (Bonus points if you have hands-on experience with the platforms' AI capabilities
Experience in data modelling, designing ETL processes
Background in analytics, mathematics or another quantitative field would be amazing
Experience with Python or R is a plus
Post secondary degree is required
Ability to leverage research and industry best practices to design repeatable, scalable business processes
High level of organization with ability to manage business processes with a keen eye for detail
Strong alignment to deadlines and the ability to prioritize competing priorities
Ability to leverage an analytical mindset to improve process
Ability to translate business process design into system design
Ability to understand data to provide insights that will improve performance of both individuals and the team

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $115,000
