Our client
is an international provider of training and learning solutions to banks and bankers around the world.
Because of continued growth and expansion, they are seeking to add a Business Development Manager/Account Executive (Individual Contributor) in the GCC – ideally in the UAE or Riyadh.
While there is an existing client base in the region, there is significant scope to add new logos and therefore this is very much a
new business/hunting role
.
It is not an account manager/”farmer” role.
You must therefore be comfortable doing the full 360-degree sales role.
From prospecting and understanding needs, to building the relationship and explaining the value proposition, to closing.
Yes, sales cycles can be long and complex, but rewards can be high too!
This role will particularly suit a hungry and ambitious sales professional who has sold learning solutions of some kind to banks in the GCC before, and who is a self-starter who wants to build a book of business, and make a name for themselves.
The Job
- Fundamentally, you will be selling learning solutions into banks and financial institutions.
- Solutions might be off the shelf or custom. In classroom, remote, digital or blended.
- Hunt for & win new business – source, prospect and generate new business throughout the GCC Region.
- Mange the full 360-degree sales cycle.
- Upsell and x-sell.
- Build relationships with both L&D teams and line/BU managers within the banks.
- Hit and even exceed sales targets – circa USD 1m, if not more.
Requirements
- A proven track record over 3+ years (can be much more!) in selling learning solutions to corporate/enterprise clients – some of which should ideally have sat in the banking/financial institutional space.
- A self-starter who can prospect and manage the full sales cycle from start to finish.
- Intelligence, polish and presence – ability to be a credible advisor.
- Ideally based in either Dubai or Riyadh with an ability to travel throughout the GCC region to meet prospects and clients when required.
- Salary is competitive and is dependent on level of experience and track record in securing new business within the learning solutions space.
- Uncapped commissions are also payable.
