Responsibilities
- Aggressively map the UAE market to identify and secure new business opportunities in B2B commercial sector, international trade, and IGO/NGO streams
- Actively develop business and build corporate presence within key UAE trade hubs including JAFZA, DAFZA, KIZAD, and Dubai South
- Develop a robust commercial pipeline by targeting high volume traders, exporters, manufacturers, and logistics providers
- Position and sell core trade facilitation services including Pre Shipment Inspections, Product Conformity Assessments, testing coordination, and certification schemes
- Proactively re engage with regional trade networks to expand market share
- Identify and lead response to localized tenders and RFQs, coordinating with International Brand Headquarters
- Act as primary local commercial representative ensuring pricing, contracting, and certification are routed through central operations
- Execute all business development activities in alignment with Group Anti Corruption Code, Code of Ethics, and trade sanction laws
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of proven business development or commercial sales experience strictly within the TIC industry in UAE/GCC
- Active, verified network of contacts among major UAE based exporters, commodity traders, and shipping/logistics companies
- Valid UAE driving license and access to a registered vehicle for frequent client visits
- Deep understanding of international supply chains, import/export regulations, trade facilitation, and conformity assessment mandates
- Proven track record as a self starter and sales hunter with history of meeting/exceeding aggressive individual sales targets
- Ability to operate independently within a matrix organization
- Uncompromising professional ethics and experience working within strict corporate compliance frameworks
- Fluent professional written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred

Position Summary
- A prestigious European headquartered international TIC organization seeks a highly motivated Business Development Manager.
- The role drives commercial growth, market penetration, and strategic brand expansion for international trade verification and certification services across UAE and GCC.
- The BDM will operate with high autonomy to build a robust client portfolio and generate pipelines for services executed globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressively map the UAE market to identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities within B2B commercial sector, international trade, and IGO/NGO streams.
- Actively develop business and build a strong corporate presence within key UAE trade hubs and economic zones including JAFZA, DAFZA, KIZAD, and Dubai South.
- Develop a robust and sustainable commercial pipeline by targeting high volume traders, exporters, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
- Position and sell core trade facilitation services including Pre Shipment Inspections (PSI), Product Conformity Assessments (PCA), testing coordination, and specialized certification schemes.
- Proactively re engage with regional trade networks, re establishing trust and expanding the group's active market share.
- Identify and lead the response to localized tenders and Request for Quotations (RFQs), coordinating technical and pricing requirements with International Brand Headquarters.
- Act as the primary local commercial representative, ensuring that all client pricing, official contracting, and certification issuance are seamlessly routed through central operations.
- Execute all business development activities in strict alignment with the Group Anti Corruption Code, Code of Ethics, and international trade sanction laws.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of proven business development or commercial sales experience strictly within the TIC industry in the UAE/GCC region.
- Must possess an active, verified network of contacts among major UAE based exporters, commodity traders, and shipping/logistics companies.
- Must possess a valid UAE driving license and have access to a registered vehicle for frequent client visits across the Emirates.
- Deep understanding of international supply chains, import/export regulations, trade facilitation, and governmental conformity assessment mandates.
- A proven track record as a self starter and a 'sales hunter' with a history of meeting or exceeding aggressive individual sales targets.
- Ability to operate independently within a matrix organization, managing reporting lines across local hosting structures and international brand headquarters.
- Uncompromising professional ethics and experience working within strict corporate compliance and risk assessment frameworks.
- Fluent professional written and spoken English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred and considered a major strategic asset.
