Business Unit Overview

Role Overview

  • Responsible for driving utilization and dependence upon KPMG Qatar as the go to place for all internal and external Clients.
  • Creates and progresses opportunities for the firms in the international market by leveraging a hybrid skillset of business development, presales, technical excellence and delivery.
  • Advocates innovation both within the firm and with clients.

Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Identifies and pursue new opportunities for the organization to diversify across sub industry, emerging technology and services propositions to build pipeline.
  • Works with KPMG teams to create integrated propositions to meet the needs of specific industries or clients to build pipeline.
  • Supports the interlock with the delivery organization to ensure teams support program delivery and development of innovative and profitable commercial constructs.
  • Owns and contributes to the growth of senior stakeholder relationships within government and major Qatari companies.
  • Owns and manages key relationships within the KPMG partner network to drive pipeline from within the firms' client base.
  • Owns and manages the relationship with key stakeholders to develop co selling opportunities.
  • Supports stakeholders with bids and proposals for large scale transformation programs.
  • Work with solution design team to respond to RFQs/ RFPs in a timely manner.
  • Works as a trusted advisor with clients around their strategic business and technology needs.

Qualification and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree: Bachelor's degree.
  • Postgraduate: MBA or a relevant would be an advantage.
  • Preferably with a Big 4 Audit firm or in Global Consulting firms would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Proven experience working as a business development officer or similar role.
  • Experience in Qatar market within the Public and private sector.
  • High level of technical proficiency and computer literacy.
  • Microsoft Office particularly with PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision making skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
