- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, and related logistics services
- Develop and execute multi channel account plans for target markets, industries, and geographies
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline; forecast accurately and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Conduct needs assessments, present tailored solutions, and prepare compelling proposals and bids
- Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, and Compliance to ensure feasible, competitive, and compliant service offerings
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with customers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings; build a strong external network
- Manage post sale onboarding and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
- Prepare regular sales reports, dashboards, and revenue analyses for leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience in freight/logistics, 3PL, or related sectors
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and expanding key accounts
- Deep knowledge of freight modes (air, ocean, road, rail), customs procedures, incoterms, and regulatory considerations
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal writing skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; data analysis and forecasting skills
- Ability to travel as needed and operate in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

- Knowledge of air/sea/land freight, customs processes, and shippers’ needs are essential.
