Core responsibilities
- Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads, and follow through to successful agreements.
- Understand target markets, including industries, companies, projects, contacts, and market strategies.
- Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Maintain current client relationships and identify new prospects in the assigned area.
- Understand company products, industry competition, and market positioning.
- Follow industry developments and stay up to date on corporate competitors.
- Build relationships with sales, data management, and operations stakeholders.
- Share customer and prospect feedback with internal teams to support continuous improvement.
- Travel frequently, approximately 10–15 days per month, to meet clients and prospects.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop new business through prospecting and networking.
- Present, promote, and sell products and services to customers and prospects.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in procurement.
- Proven experience preparing and managing quotations, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Technical and professional skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into accurate quotations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
