Requirements
- Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
- Experience in client relationship management, account management, and stakeholder engagement in media, advertising, or related industries.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable commercial strategies.
- Competence in proposal development, presentation delivery, and structuring commercial offers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with marketing, editorial, and product teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Proven experience in the UAE or Gulf region market and familiarity with print, digital, and classifieds platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working in a multicultural environment and commitment to inclusive, non discriminatory practices.

Role Description
- The Business Development Manager role is a full time, on site position based at Gulf News headquarters in Dubai.
- The individual will identify and develop new business opportunities across print, digital, events and ancillary products.
