acquiring and scaling merchants.

The Role

We’re hiring our

First Business Development Manager

to lead merchant acquisition from zero.

This is not a “strategy” role — this is a

hands-on, execution-heavy position

focused on sourcing, pitching, and closing merchants.

You will be directly responsible for bringing revenue into the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and acquire new merchants across key verticals (F&B, services, e-commerce, freelancers, SMEs)
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting → outreach → demo → close → onboarding
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Pitch Simplebit’s value proposition clearly and convincingly
  • Work closely with founders to refine pricing, positioning, and sales strategy
  • Drive partnerships and referral channels
  • Continuously gather market feedback to improve the product

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5+ years in
  • sales / business development
  • , preferably in fintech, SaaS, or payments
  • Strong ability to
  • close deals
  • — not just generate leads
  • Experience selling to SMEs or merchants in the UAE
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, field sales, and high-volume execution
  • Clear communicator with strong commercial instincts
  • Highly self-driven — able to operate in a zero-structure startup

What Success Looks Like

  • You bring in the
  • first 50–100 active merchants
  • **You establish repeatable acquisition channels**
  • **You help define how Simplebit sells and grows**
