The company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a fit-out contracting business.
The role focuses on building relationships, developing a project pipeline, and securing new fit-out projects.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop business opportunities across commercial fit-out and interior contracting.
- Build relationships with clients, developers, consultants, architects, designers, and project managers.
- Generate qualified leads, maintain the opportunity pipeline, and track projects through award.
- Arrange prospect meetings and presentations, prepare proposals, and support tender submissions.
- Coordinate with estimating, design, and project teams on commercial submissions.
- Follow up on proposals and negotiate commercial terms to convert opportunities.
- Maintain business development records and represent the company at industry events.
- Monitor competitors and market developments for potential opportunities.
Key requirements
- Proven business development experience in fit-out or interior contracting.
- Strong local construction, interiors, and real estate network.
- Track record of generating leads and converting fit-out opportunities.
- Understanding of fit-out project lifecycles, tendering, and commercial environments.
