Role Context
The role sits within HSBC Contact Centre under IWPB and supports inbound and outbound sales activity.
The position focuses on converting generated leads into successful product and account openings.
The work requires customer understanding, explicit consent, accurate proposition mapping, and complete documentation.
Principal Responsibilities
- Pursue and close cross-sell leads within defined parameters and process requirements.
- Confirm customer purchase intent and product understanding.
- Obtain explicit customer authority on a recorded line to complete sales confirmation.
- Map customers to EWS, Premier, or Personal Banking propositions using employment and salary criteria.
- Verify customer details and eligibility, including nominee information, and maintain complete documentation.
- Use EDRAS scripts and banking systems to support compliant lead management and account opening.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Engage customers professionally and empathetically while maintaining service and sales discipline.
- Collaborate with Product and Contact Center teams for smooth lead progression and timely closures.
