We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist In this role, you will Design and engineer software with the customer/user experience as a key objective. Actively contributes to Technology Engineering Practice by sharing Subject Matter Expertise from their area of specialism, best practice and learnings. Drives adherence to all standards and policies within their area of Technology Engineering Delivery and support of data related infrastructure and architecture to optimise data storage and consumption across the bank, including addressing functional and non-functional requirements relevant to data in large applications Design and develop applications for internal and external users focussing on the interface and front-end usability of the application. Engineer and implement security measures for the protection of internal and external systems, networks, products and services. Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members. Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team. Managing stakeholder communications and helping to implement an effective system of project governance To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Knowledge of Java and Cloud Technologies and related products Experience in Java, SpringBoot, Kubernetes & Docker, MongoDB, SQL, Micro Service Design, Kafka, GCP, React JS, Experience on design and implement DevOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Pipeline.
