Role Overview
A shipping and logistics group in Dubai is appointing a Business Development Manager to expand its commercial reach into Greater China.
The business has established roots across the Middle East and is growing its footprint into Asia.
The role turns market knowledge and new relationships into commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Open new trade relationships across Greater China.
- Build relationships with freight forwarders, shipowners, charterers, manufacturers, and traders.
- Convert relationships and market knowledge into genuine commercial opportunities.
- Work in a client-facing business development capacity from the beginning.
Requirements
- Fluent Mandarin is required for the role’s Greater China targets.
- Strong commercial experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding is sought.
- Experience gained within the Middle East and Africa region is ideal.
Workplace
- The role is based in Dubai.
