Business Development Executive ANZ

Responsibilities

• Drive outbound demand generation for the ANZ region: targeted research, prospecting, and multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to secure new client meetings and event attendees.
• Deliver against a quarterly goal structure covering new meetings and event attendees booked, support for new and existing opportunity development, and initial client pitches.
• Support the ANZ sales team on new and existing opportunities: account research, stakeholder mapping, meeting preparation, and follow-up materials.
• Prepare and deliver initial client pitches and capability introductions, handing qualified conversations over to the sales team.
• Provide RFP and proposal support, including research inputs, first-draft content, and coordination with capability teams.
• Contribute to pipeline acceleration: keeping CRM records current, tracking follow-ups, and nudging stalled opportunities forward with the sales team.
• Support Fractal-hosted and partner events (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud) with invitations, attendee management, and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain a consistent learning cadence on Fractal capabilities, Data and AI trends, and the ANZ market.
• Work ANZ-friendly hours to maximise overlap with the Australian and New Zealand time zones.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in demand generation, inside sales, or sales development for technology, analytics, or consulting services, ideally selling into international markets
• Proven track record of booking qualified meetings with senior stakeholders through outbound prospecting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the polish to engage senior executives in the ANZ market.
• Working knowledge of Data, Analytics, and AI concepts, with the curiosity to keep building depth.
• Hands-on with modern sales tooling: CRM (Salesforce or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach/sequencing platforms.
• Comfortable being measured against clear quarterly goals for meetings booked, opportunity support, and client pitches.
• Highly organised and self-driven, able to manage research, outreach, and follow-up across multiple accounts in parallel.
• Familiarity with the ANZ market, particularly Banking and Financial Services and Mining and Natural Resources, is a strong plus.
• Willingness to work ANZ-aligned hours from Bengaluru.
• Openness to feedback and a demonstrated appetite for learning and development.
