Role Description

  • The Business Development Director role is a full time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for driving new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and leading strategic initiatives to grow eWorld’s portfolio of data communication, industrial automation,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on distribution of Automation, Networking, and Communication products
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and consistently achieving/exceeding sales targets
  • Substantial experience in the industrial data communication and automation sector strongly preferred
  • Prior experience leading and managing a business development or sales team
  • Track record of contributing to strategic business plans and aligning business development activities with overall company objectives
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the Middle East region to develop new markets and geographies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze markets, identify trends, and contribute to long term business planning

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver persuasive presentations and proposals
  • Industry Knowledge: In depth understanding of the industrial data communication and automation industry, including competitor landscape and customer needs
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a business development team in a high performance environment
  • Results Orientation: Goal driven with a demonstrated history of meeting/exceeding revenue and growth targets
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
