Description

  • The IWSS Advanced Concepts Strategy and Business Development Director will coordinate cross functional, cross segment teams to accelerate development and integration of capabilities.
  • Ensure IWSS is positioned to help customers meet next generation requirements and drive future technology and product strategies.
  • Lead team to identify, pursue and win Customer R&D (CRAD) contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and development of talent; ensuring skills and assigned portfolios are aligned to market segment priorities.
  • Ensure LM's ability to understand and interface with the marketplace including customer people/processes, competitive intelligence, building effective customer relationships.
  • Ensure LM has superior access to key customers.
  • Partner with market segment teams to develop business strategies that align with the market and drive growth.
  • Develop CRAD orders and resource plans reflecting aggressive but achievable roadmap for business growth.
  • Exercise leadership in collaborating and developing business/capture strategies that leverage other LoBs and business areas.
  • Exercise leadership in seeking out new customers and new applications to continue to grow the portfolio.
  • Drive successful captures and keep sold campaigns by providing market insight, capture strategy, and coordinating customer interaction.
  • Exercise proper communications and engagement with internal management.
  • Meet financial and operational commitments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading competitive capture of CRAD.
  • Successful experience in leading senior level talent in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to form and develop high performing teams in a cross functional environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and across the LM enterprise.
  • Accomplished at developing and communicating clear and actionable strategies at the business unit level and at the individual pursuit level.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others following LM's Business Development and Capture processes and best practices.
  • Ability to obtain clearance at Top Secret level.
  • Must be able to travel extensively to customers and other IWSS locations.
  • Position will be based out of Moorestown, NJ.

Desired Skills

  • Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of IWSS business segment products and related technology.
  • Established relationships with the Government Lab and Rapid Capability Offices.
  • Experience or familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming and Budgeting System.

Ability to Work Remotely

  • Part time Remote Telework: The employee will work part of their work schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules

  • Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
