Overview

The Business Development Analyst supports growth initiatives by conducting market and competitor research with emphasis on Sports Tech across KSA and the GCC, tracking BD performance and OKRs, and managing the partnership pipeline.

The role also contributes to developing business cases and evaluating potential partners to support strategic partnerships and new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support BD planning and OKR tracking (monthly dashboards, progress reporting, risk/issues log).
  • Build and maintain a partnership pipeline tracker (targets, outreach status, next steps, outcomes).
  • Conduct market and competitor research with emphasis on Sports Tech (KSA/GCC): trends, use cases, vendor landscape, benchmarks.
  • Develop business cases for new offers (value proposition, pricing assumptions, ROI/TCO, GTM approach).
  • Prepare partner dossiers and evaluation packs (fit assessment,technical/commercial questions, compliance considerations).
  • Business development fundamentals (qualification, value proposition, partner lifecycle).
  • Strong market research skills (primary/secondary research, synthesis, presentation).
  • Commercial basics: pricing logic, revenue models, unit economics, basic finance terms.
  • Understanding of partnership models (reseller, referral, OEM, integration/technology alliance).
  • Good command of Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint (clean dashboards, structured slides).
  • Sports Tech sector knowledge: clubs/federations ecosystems, fan engagement, ticketing, venue tech, athlete performance, sports analytics, broadcasting/OTT, CRM/loyalty, sponsorship tech.
  • Public sector/government procurement exposure in KSA (tender processes, compliance artifacts).
  • SaaS product/portfolio management understanding (packaging, bundles, attach rates).
  • Data privacy / cybersecurity awareness relevant to enterprise/government customers. technical/commercial questions, compliance considerations).
  • Support executive-ready materials (briefs, one pager, meeting notes, proposals inputs).
  • Coordinate internally with Sales/Presales/Marketing/ Product teams to align offers, messaging, and partner requirements.
