Business Developer (Tabletop Role-Playing Games)

• 3+ years of business development, licensing, or sales experience in digital retail, publishing, or the tabletop gaming industry.
• A deep, authentic love for Tabletop RPGs and the gaming community. You can speak fluently about key publishers, creators, diverse game systems, and the modern digital tabletop ecosystem.
• Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written skills. You are comfortable with challenging sales calls and can articulate complex ideas persuasively.
• Proven ability to proactively work independently on multiple projects at once, taking ownership from start to finish while completing them on schedule.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and build consensus.
• A collaborative mindset with a proven track record of building strong relationships both internally and externally.

• Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The total salary compensation range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000 . Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
