Description
Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery?
Amazon Now is offering a role to be part of a growing team that will make history — building a new business from the ground up.
Amazon Now is at the heart of a fast-moving Amazon's quick commerce team.
You will be part of working groups tackling complex challenges, driving initiatives that directly impact availability and customer experience.
The role involves working closely with data — building solutions, identifying patterns and translating insights into action.
You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across product, program management, instock and fulfillment teams to streamline processes and improve operational outcomes.
In this role, you will lead initiatives end-to-end — from diagnosing gaps to designing and implementing fixes.
You will work with internal tools and data to build scalable solutions, support process improvement projects and actively participate in cross-functional forums.
The expectation is that you bring both analytical rigour and a bias for action — comfortable in ambiguity and able to move fast without losing accuracy.
An ideal candidate should have:
- Passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to build AI tools, work with large datasets and build meaningful solutions.
- Problem-solving mindset — able to identify root causes and drive fixes across teams.
- Comfort working with multiple stakeholders and navigating cross-functional dependencies.
- Detail orientation with high accuracy in data handling and reporting.
- Initiative to take ownership, handle stretch responsibilities and operate independently.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly across all levels.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and maintain operational dashboards to track key customer engagement metrics, supply chain and instock metrics across the network.
- Drive data analytics to surface insights, identify trends and support decision-making across the team.
- Streamline metrics visibility for internal stakeholders — making the right data accessible at the right time.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional working groups.
- Collaborate with supply chain, fulfillment and planning teams to improve operational performance.
- Take ownership of operational challenges, analyse data end-to-end and implement corrective actions.
- Source store-level pricing and promotions and execute using internal tools.
- The role may require occasional weekend coverage but will not exceed a 5-day work week.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with SQL and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- 3+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Experience with ETL
