Job Summary
Tekgence is seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with expertise in finance, investment management, and private equity valuations.
The role requires 5–10 years of hands-on private equity valuation experience.
The analyst will work with valuation teams, deal teams, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver accurate, auditable financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end process mapping for private equity valuation workflows, including inputs, transformations, outputs, and dependencies.
- Work with private equity valuation, deal, and engineering teams to resolve business and design decisions.
- Define and refine business requirements and acceptance criteria for valuation-related solutions.
- Design human-in-the-loop review processes with analyst review, overrides, and approval or sign-off workflows.
- Manage data schemas, field definitions, mandatory and optional attributes, source hierarchy, and controlled vocabularies.
- Validate system and prototype outputs against real private equity deal models for accuracy and auditability.
- Define valuation parameters such as tolerance thresholds, recency windows, and EBITDA margin thresholds.
- Coordinate UAT, test case development, and business validation for financial and valuation solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with deal team expectations and valuation methodologies.
