Role Summary
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented
Business Analyst And Project Control Officer
to join a growing team within a leading Financial Services organization.
This is a critical role focused on driving transformation, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
You will be responsible for tracking complex initiatives, managing reporting, and developing interactive dashboards that influence organizational strategy.
Logistics
- **Location:**
- Downtown, Toronto, Hybrid (1 day/week, more days during initial training).
- **Duration:**
- 2-year contract with possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.
- **Compensation:**
- T4: CAD 32/HR-CAD 38/HR | IC: CAD 42/HR-CAD 45/HR
What You Will Do
- **Data & Analytics:**
- Transform raw data into actionable insights using advanced Excel and BI tools.
- Design and maintain easy-to-understand dashboards.
- **Project Control:**
- Track team projects and initiatives across various streams; prepare summaries for stakeholder and steering committee reviews.
- **Process Improvement:**
- Recommend approaches to streamline technological processes, identify gaps, and implement automation solutions.
- **Stakeholder Management:**
- Facilitate discussions, gather business requirements, and document solutions.
- **Onboarding/Support:**
- Manage Market Data service requests, including adds, changes, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
What You Bring
- **Experience:**
- 2–3 years of dedicated Business Analyst and PCO experience.
- **Technical Proficiency:**
- **Advanced Excel:**
- Ability to handle complex data manipulation (no beginners).
- **Project Tracking:**
- Experience with MS Planner, MS Project, or similar suites.
- **BI Tools:**
- Proven ability to build reporting and analytics solutions.
- **Industry Knowledge:**
- Previous experience in the Banking/Financial sector is essential.
- **Skills:**
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and influence skills.
- A curiosity for AI and new automation techniques is a major plus.
- **Education:**
- Post-secondary degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
