- Gather and document requirements and enhancements in partnership with Product Owner
- Drive sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives)
- Break down requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Identify cross team dependencies and ensure smooth coordination
- Maintain and prioritize the backlog in alignment with priorities, in coordination with Product Owner
- Develop strong understanding of backend systems, workflows, and data mappings
- Support defect triage and root cause analysis
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst with Canadian insurance knowledge
- Strong experience with Agile tools (Jira/Confluence) and process facilitation
- Ability to gather and document requirements and enhancements
- Experience driving sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives)
- Ability to break down requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Identify cross team dependencies and ensure smooth coordination
- Maintain and prioritize backlog in alignment with priorities
- Develop strong understanding of backend systems, workflows, and data mappings (SQL and Mongo knowledge preferred)
- Support defect triage and root cause analysis

Role Overview
- BA with Canadian Insurance knowledge
- Work Site: Toronto – Min 3 days WFO – Day 1 Onsite
- Primary focus: BAU priorities breakdown, backlog management, and sprint coordination
