- Generate accurate lists of user and computer objects for clean up and remediation using Excel and Power BI
- Document existing manual matrixed workflows and RACIs for workflow improvements and automation in ServiceNow
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with technical teams and stakeholders
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, technical, operational, security, and compliance requirements
- Develop current state and future state process maps for device lifecycle, endpoint support, M365 service requests, and identity workflows
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and test scenarios
- Support backlog refinement, sprint/release planning, prioritization, and dependency tracking
- Document user journeys for device provisioning, Windows 11 onboarding, M365 collaboration, and access requests
- Develop and maintain RAID logs, decision records, requirements traceability, and RACI matrices
- Support pilot planning, UAT coordination, defect triage, and rollout readiness assessments
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and operational readiness gaps; recommend improvements
- Support development of communications, training materials, knowledge articles, and service transition content
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Business Analyst
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or business with technology focus or equivalent
- Strong experience supporting Modern Workplace, M365, endpoint, or identity initiatives
- Strong Excel and Power BI data analysis and data normalization skills
- Knowledge of ITSM, SDLC, ITIL, change, quality, Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Experience with both on premise and cloud hosted solutions
- CBAP/IIBA certification is an asset

Job Description

The consultant will support Technology Services Transformation initiatives by providing business analysis for Windows 11, M365, endpoint management, identity, collaboration, security, infrastructure,
Responsibilities
- Through exceptional Excel and Power BI analysis and data normalization skills, generate accurate lists of user and computer objects to be targeted by various clean up and remediation activities as well as comms activities.
- Document existing manual matrixed workflows and related RACIs as inputs into workflow improvements, eventual automation in ServiceNow, and training plans.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions with technical teams, service owners, business stakeholders, cybersecurity, Information Management, service desk, operational teams, and vendors.
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, technical, operational, security, reporting, compliance, and user experience requirements.
- Develop current state and future state process maps for device lifecycle, endpoint support, M365 service requests, identity/access workflows, collaboration governance, migration activities, and operational support processes.
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process requirements, test scenarios, implementation documentation, and decision records.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint/release planning, prioritization, dependency tracking, scope clarification, and issue resolution across Windows 11, M365, Intune, Entra ID, and related workstreams.
- Document user journeys for device provisioning, Windows 11 onboarding, M365 collaboration, access requests, support interactions, exception handling, migration impacts, and service transitions.
- Develop and maintain RAID logs, decision records, requirements traceability, stakeholder maps, RACI matrices, readiness checklists, operational acceptance criteria, and implementation support artifacts.
- Support pilot planning, feedback capture, UAT coordination, defect triage, acceptance validation, rollout readiness assessments, and post implementation review activities.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, unclear ownership, user friction, support risks, change impacts, and operational readiness gaps; recommend practical improvements.
- Support development of communications, training materials, knowledge articles, support guides, FAQs, adoption materials, and service transition content.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a complex business environment.
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or business with a technology focus, plus considerable related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Certificate as a Business Analyst Professional (e.g. CBAP/IIBA) is an asset.
- Strong experience supporting Modern Workplace, M365, endpoint, or identity initiatives, with strong Excel and Power BI data analysis skills, is required.
- An understanding of methodologies and frameworks such as ITSM, SDLC, ITIL, change, quality, and Agile and waterfall is an asset.
- Experience with both on premise and cloud hosted solutions is an asset.
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving environment with matrix leadership is an asset.
- Knowledge of business analysis methods, requirements traceability, and effort estimation related to the work performed.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and prescribed methodologies for business analysis.
- Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM related standards and practices, including ServiceNow workflow concepts.
- Knowledge of and experience in the design and deployment of public safety systems.
- Strong Excel and Power BI data analysis and data normalization skills.
