- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Five years of recent related experience including project planning, analysis and implementation
- Knowledge of Indigenous specific racism and cultural safety
- Demonstrated ability in business process mapping and fit gap analysis
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Role Overview
- The Business Analyst and Project Support leads analysis and documentation of business requirements to support projects for designated programs/services within IMITS.
- Works in close collaboration with stakeholders to develop business systems enhancements, solutions, or processes.
- Functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through performing gap analysis and business process mapping.
What you’ll do
- Ensure key results are achieved by analyzing current business systems and processes, generating ideas and formulating recommendations.
- Implement effective processes to assess project risks, identify mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide professional expertise to staff, departments, and stakeholders regarding standard project management processes.
- Review, analyze and define current/future state processes and contribute to specifications and testing.
- Provide user support, advice, orientation, and develop training content and deliver training.
- Develop and maintain online course content, business processes, policies, procedures, and reference documentation.
What you bring
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, or related discipline, plus five years recent related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the historic and ongoing impacts of settler colonialism on Indigenous Peoples in social and health contexts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of systemic racism and commitment to eradicating Indigenous specific racism.
- Knowledge of legislative obligations and provincial commitments including TRC Calls to Action, In Plain Sight, UNDRIP, etc.

Salary Range
- CAD 69,218 CAD 99,501 per year, prorated for part time roles.
Hours of Work
- 08:00 16:00, Monday to Friday.
