Role overview
A fast-growing fintech is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst.
The role translates business needs into clear requirements, supports change initiatives and improves processes across customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, document and validate business requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Analyse processes, identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
- Support products, platforms, integrations and operational change initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance insights.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk and Compliance throughout projects.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions and solution reviews.
- Support UAT planning and execution, including test cases, issue tracking and resolution.
- Prepare documentation and presentations for senior management and project stakeholders.
- Align solutions with regulatory, risk and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, financial services, banking, payments or digital products.
- Strong experience gathering requirements and producing structured business and functional documentation.
- Ability to map processes, assess business impact and support end-to-end change delivery.
- Experience with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools is advantageous.
