Whitespace Global is seeking a Heavy Bus Driver for a construction company in Abu Dhabi. The driver will transport employees between accommodations and construction sites safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a heavy bus to transport employees to and from construction sites
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while ensuring timely arrivals and departures
- Conduct daily pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements
- Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Ensure passengers board, travel, and disembark safely
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle inspections
- Report accidents, incidents, delays, or breakdowns immediately to the supervisor
- Coordinate with the transport department regarding vehicle servicing and repairs
- Assist in emergency situations and follow company emergency response procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Heavy Bus Driving License appropriate for the country of operation
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience driving heavy buses, preferably in the construction or industrial sector
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques
- Ability to read route plans and follow schedules
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
- Familiarity with vehicle inspection and basic preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read route plans and follow schedules.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in emergencies.
- Basic record keeping and reporting skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
- Good vision and hearing (with corrective devices if required).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
- Physically fit to meet company and regulatory medical requirements.
Working Conditions
- Work involves driving in various weather and road conditions.
- Frequent travel between labor accommodations, construction sites, and project locations.
- Compliance with company safety procedures and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) when on construction sites.
Pay
- AED 2,500.00 AED 3,000.00 per month
